grooveTALK: Maestro Michael Hall

We are pleased to announce that Maestro Michael Hall will join Bryan Tuk live for a live interview and Q&A on Facebook about percussion in the orchestra and musical careers.  Maestro Hall is the Music Director of the Music Director of the Kennett Symphony, a post he has held since 2014. Michael is also Music Director of the  Prince George Symphony Orchestra in British Columbia, Canada.

Highly acclaimed for his intensity and spontaneity, Hall has appeared with many of today’s leading ensembles, including the Houston Symphony, the Toronto Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Pacific Symphony, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Symphoria, the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Costa Rica, the Winnipeg Symphony, the Toledo Symphony, the Windsor Symphony, the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra, the Great Falls Symphony, the Bozeman Symphony,  the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Groundswell New Music Ensemble, and the Havant Symphony in the UK, as well as a return to the Tucson Symphony, with whom he has a special relationship and has been a frequent guest conductor in multiple concert series over the past nine seasons. Hall also  works regularly with the Space Coast Symphony in Florida, where he is the newly appointed Principal Guest Conductor.

Alexandra's terrific Debut EP, When the Garden Reveals Itself on Blacbird Records (Joe Nicolo) is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. 

Album and site artwork collaboration with Philadelphia based artist, Anna Tupelo.

Alexandra was voted one of Philly's Rising Artists of 2017, and on Monday, December 10th at 10AM on Facebook, you'll see why.

Based in Philadelphia, Connor Kaufman and Alex Hagendorf together are Folk Fugitive.  Two lads with a strong love for nature, camping, and harmony.  The songs are written for the campfire, for the barnyard, and for times of solitude by the river.

Rob Robinson is an American Singer/Songwriter residing in Elkton, Maryland. Born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Rob grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia where he enjoyed a great musical heritage. By an early age Rob was taking in a wide variety of musical styles including jazz, classical and show music. His interest in music and performance came from both of his parents and their involvement in drum & bugle corps, an activity he himself enjoyed for many years. It was in the drum corps activity that Rob realized his passion for music and performance.
