modern percussion and arts education

After 40 years on the instrument, as well as decades worth of teaching experience, I have a few things to tell you. For a while now I was wishing for a place where I could teach and record and provide other musicians with the same kind of opportunities to hone their skills in a beautiful, acoustically fabulous room close to home.  

So instead of wishing for it, I went out and made it happen. 

groove is a percussion teaching studio, a listening room, a live streaming studio, and a place to hone your musical and entrepreneurial skills. We will talk a lot about building bands and building brands. 

Students of all ages train here to become better musicians. There are many events throughout the month designed to help build your percussive skills (the Wednesday Throwdown), as well as learn about some of the classic recordings from all genres through our Virtual Vinyl series. All lessons are live and in person at our beautiful space at 109 Church Alley, Second Floor, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
