Bryan has been playing drums for over 30 years.  His most formative years were spent as a 5 time DCI finalist in the percussion section Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps under Mark Thurston and his staff from 1989-1993.  The lessons learned there about drumming, music, responsibility, hard work, and determination serve Bryan still to this day in all different types of environments.

In addition to teaching privately, Bryan is an independent recording artist and leads The Bryan Tuk Complex, a 14 piece high energy jazz/funk/rock group based in eastern Pennsylvania. Bryan’s recordings include Liftoff (2019), Life in High Gravity (2019), TMF Organ Trio (2021) and Rooftop Riot: The Bryan Tuk Complex Live (2021).

Bryan has taught many high school and university marching drumlines, including Kennett High School and Downingtown West High School.

Bryan is a voting member of the Recording Academy, and a member of both the Percussive Arts Society and the American Society for Composers and Producers
